I don't think so...a strict interpretation of the rules would prevent you from showing any dog to that co-owner for at least a year after the co-ownership ended, because there is a prohibition against "doing business," etc. I think co-owning is usually a kind of partnership...perhaps both parties use the dog at stud, or split litters, whatever...even if there is no "business" involved, the appearance is of duplicity and dishonesty. As it happens, I have been advised by two different people that the co-ownership between Bill and Bob was in 1989 or thereabouts................so by now there should be no problem with one of them showing to the other. The other implications of Ms. Franklin's post are better left to others...I was being a smartass about the co-ownership rules, but I think the whole matter touched a lot of nerves for others.
