It can be done but the set up has to be excellent. I have had 3 litters at
once. But I have excellent pens in my basement. And could isolate the mothers
from seeing each other. one bitch had missed so many times I did not think she
would take (had 6) one bitch always had small litters (had 8) and Fertile
Myrtle had a dozen on Christmas Eve. That is right 26 babies at once. I
prayed
no one would get sick and begged everyone for newspapers. That was 8 years ago
December 24. I have never risked that happening again by breeding more then
one at a time - it wasn't fun but lot of hard work
