[ SHOWGSD-L ] Twin Puppies?

I had puppies like that from a C-Section, I did the DNA on them and had to
send in a 2nd sample as the normal DNA test were the same, when they went
out further there was a difference in it. I used collars when tiny and
chipped at 6 weeks (long before I normally do that). The DNA was sent with
the chip #'s and AKC #'s for the puppies after talking with the registration
department at AKC and a DR. at the DNA center. They said they see it in
cows & sheep but rarely in dogs or cats.
The vet that did the C-section is a fertility vet (Dr Brimacomb), she does
many C-sections and said that was the 1st time she had seen 2 in one sack
that both were good size and healthy. She had seen it with 1 dead or tiny
that did not make it or both dead.

We had two Labs that were born in the same sack and to this day they are
identical in every way. They act the same and look exactly alike to the
point that when they are together you have to have collars on or have a
microchip reader or someone might go home with the wrong dog and would
never know it.
