When there are multiple shows, such as a cluster, there are separate entry
forms for each show. We should have done it that way as well. I know Rau
only sends out the entry and we approve it before it goes to print. In
the future we can consider this problem, and we should be able to cure it
this time with help from the AKC.
I don't buy the, "we can't change the rules because AKC won't allow it."
The AKC does try to help clubs, they are responsive. You may not like the
decision, but they will listen. We have a delegate. He is a strong willed man,
and has a voice with the AKC.
I would at least like to hear that someone picked up the phone and talked
to the AKC.
As a lawyer I am often told I can't do something. Then I do it. Maybe
we need to learn to run the club that way. I have not noticed Gail or Tish
to be bashful when something is needed. And, I know Carmen will try if
requested.
