Weekend Fresh Air, on NPR, has a piece on what became of the pit bulls seized
from Michael Vick. Incredibly, of the 51 dogs taken, only one had to be
euthanized for aggression, and one died of injuries suffered fighting. The
piece features an interview with Jim Gorant, a senior writer for Sports
Illustrated, who followed the dogs. He also wrote the book, The Lost Dogs:
Michael Vick's Dogs and Their Tale of Rescue and Redemption.
