Dear All,
I received this message (below) from a wonderful student of mine. I also
recently adopted two rescue dogs myself, and have three cats, so our household
is
"full up" and I cannot consider taking this dog. My student, Teresa Kennedy,
has been telling me about this dog for quite a while. It is getting cold, and I
hope someone will respond with "love in their heart" at Holiday time.

I'm sure the subject of this e-mail is odd but on a long shot I wanted to ask
you if you knew anyone who would be willing to take a mostly German Sheperd
middle aged dog. He is very sweet and loving and needs someone to love him. He
is an abandoned dog next to my mother-in-law. She feeds and waters him but she
can't take him because she has alot of cats and kittens in her own yard. I
can't take him becuase of my park rules. I know you are a dog lover and just
thought you might know someone. I am exploring ways to help him. I don't want
to
call the SPCA because of his size and age, beleive they would put him to
sleep. He is such a wonderful dog with a personality almost human. He loves my
son, to see them play would make you cry. He is so starved for love and
attention. Any suggestions would be welcome
