Maybe we should do things like we do them on the Rez. Give the accused a 10
minute head start :0) If you are liked by enough on the Rez they will give you
shoes. If the Great Spirit is with you, you will travel fast and sure. If not
problem solved. It doesn't pay to be a fat out of shape Indian on the Rez. :0)

Again, this does not mean anything but a definition of terms. In a
CIVIL case, there is NO Innocence or guilt! Never. Two parties
disagree and a court (jury or judge) decides the outcome by the
preponderance of the evidence presented. If MOST of the facts weigh
on one party or the other, the ruling goes to the most heavily
weighted. There doesn't even have to have a unanimous decision by a
jury.

We can fuss all we want on this list and the others but the majority
of the PC membership are not on the list to read them......... and so
we end up with the same problems on the Board again and
again............ Now we have folks voing AGAINST people because they
have been ACCUSED. This country's legal system was NOT founded on
Guilty until proven innocent....... If I really thought it would make
a difference I could accuse anyone of doing anything near election
time but, if its only known by 'list' folks, I really don't 'think it
would affect the outcome of the election........
I am a firm believer that, if you are not involved in the organization
and don't know whats going on you should 'exclued' yourself from
voting on issues so that you don't make matters worse. Name
recognition is no way to select our leaders in ANY election. Just my
personal and sometimes ugly opinion!
