If you or someone you know feel they are qualified and are willing to
volunteer for these important positions, please either encourage them to
send a resume or send your own resume.
Laurie is right, per the Bylaws; the Board will be appointing someone to
this position. Since the club is a corporation, I feel this is not an
unreasonable request, so that the most qualified person with the available
time for the work will be chosen during what is likely to be a learning
process and large transition in light of the loss of Bill's longstanding
efforts on behalf of the club.
As such, I hope we avoid making this a popularity contest on the list;
because ultimately, the decision will not be made on the list, it will be
made by the Board.
