I agree with this! Once though while traveling and my car started running hot, I stopped at a fast food restaurant and opened the hood while contemplating what to do next. I also had the windows partly open. A man started toward the car and I supposed he was going to ask if I needed help since he could easily see the hood was up. But Lady was having none of that and about scared him to death as she stuck her head out the window and barked at him in not exactly friendly terms. He turned quickly and left! One time when i could have used some help! Another time when I had a flat and had to get a new tire and get it put on at a garage, the men would not drive the car onto the ramp lift because I had two dogs loose in it. I had to do it and stay in the car on the lift while they changed the tire. Not sure that would be allowed today. Dogs do make for interesting experiences while traveling.
