If this is the place I am thinking of, it is located on the same exit off
the freeway as the road to Purina Farms. I was there two years ago, as a
walk-in (no reservations) client, as I had arrived to the area earlier than
planned and could not modify my reservation at the Host Hotel. My room at
the Travel Lodge was clean, no bugs of any sort, and I had no problems with
the staff.
It is a nice motel with lots of grass and even a fenced area where you can
turn your dog loose to exercise. Actually it's an agility training area.
The motel has a pool, and has microwaves and refrigerators in each room. It
also serves a continental breakfast. The only issue is that some of the
area around the motel tends to flood in heavy rain.
