I am finding some good prices, but you have to start early and... if you are doing 'cheap flights,' be prepared for some delays and changes. I don't like those, so go for the middle. It's cheaper if you go to hubs for the flights.. (difference of almost $200 in a flight from LAX vs Burbank). I flew RT To Raleigh for about $300 the end of January. And be flexible with the times of flights. I Will make a flight reservation today for CO for about $230. (Burbank- Denver). A better price may come down the line, but I get nervous, hoping it won't go up... It was $400 at one time. It can be done, but planning and watching for the deals helps.
