Hi Chuck -- I know that it is the bitch who releases the pheramone, but the point I was trying to make is that some stud dogs will try to breed a bitch before she is really ready, while others seem to know exactly what smell to wait for. I only wish they all did, as I no longer have Dylan. It is such a help to have a male whose nose is that selective -- even if he isn't the chosen one for that breeding!
