Unfortunately, we have a run on "non-professional" professionals and it really
scares the heck out of me. Some put on a great face and are great sales people
and have NO idea how to manage dogs - especially in other breeds... And some
people let their egos get in the way.
Like Olivia and Jamie, I have grown up in dogs and have done mentoring for
several handlers and have finished dogs in many breeds. However, some of the
people that have passed off for being professional have done none of the
above... And I am sorry, at 24, MOST people are not old enough to be "handlers"
and should be out apprenticing..
Update, I know who the dal is that was in the van and the owner says the story
that everyone is reading is NOT accurate and is very different than what
actually happened, but she said until the investigation is done, nothing else
can be said.
I still just feel so bad for those dogs suffering and what the owners are going
through.
