Very well said Donna?? There are no winners in this situation and I doubt any
bad people either, just bad choices
I am also not sure age has everything to do with it????? I would trust my dogs
with Olivia & Jamie anyday?- they always take exceptional care of the dogs in
their care

Yes you are right at that age, what experience do they really have? On the
other hand...(seems like I am doing that a lot these days)...Look at Olivia,
as with many of our great handlers, ... they started young...they did this
as kids, Olivia started at 6 going in the ring, helping take care of them
and asking questions younger...she is 18 now, some would say that is 12
years experience (I don't personally feel that way)...when they did dogsas
kids it was sometimes reluctantly, now by choice, love and dedication...but
they WOULD know better...or if something was upand not right with any of the
dogs in their care.
My thought here too is, what about Carbon Monoxide Poisoning...if the
windows were vented and it was that hot and the air wasn't hitting those
back crates...or if there was a crack in the flooring/rusting/a leak etc,
the fumes could of come up and killed those dogs and started doing it as she
was driving home...maybe she didn't realize it...opened the doors, started
the fans, and saw some of them move, slightly figured they were just drowsy
from sleeping and ??? But then again I don't believe we all got the whole
story...just be thankful none of those dogs were ours (any of ours in this
community), but pray for the owners who entrusted this young girl, who
thought she had enough experience, mend their broken hearts and restore
their faith in handlers who are responsible and do know.
Also, right, wrong or indifferent...that girl has to be going through a
horrible experience too...imagine having to make those phone calls to the
clients...one is bad enough and sticks with you for a lifetime...but a
truckful??? Whew, I wouldn't want to be her...I hope she had Kennel Pac
insurance to help her try to make these people feel like they got something
back (I AM NOT SAYING THAT IS GONNA MAKE UP FOR IT, BUT OBVIOUSLY, WITH
TODAYS SOCIETY...SUING IS WHAT MENDS THE HEART.)
So sad all the way around...for anyone involved or not involved. It leaves a
bad taste in people's mouths again with our sport.

At 24 years old how much experience can she have. Most of our top GSD
handlers were just getting their feet wet at that age. Leslie was a teenager
when she handled Kristal to GVX Jim was in his mid 20's when he handled
Lance to GV.

... i have no doubt.? but there are some out there who purport themselves
to be handlers, who have no records of success in the GSD ring, who cannot
acomodate the number of dogs they are? holding, whose housing/traveling
conditions are deplorable etc. etc. etc.? it is too easy for a newbie to be
taken
in by the non-professional who can recite facts but truly has nothing to
back them up and the newbie has no way to verify.? these are accidents
waiting
to happen.
and, lady, you have something that can't be learned through experience - a
true love and respect for this great breed.? you and leslie need never
defend yourselves.
