That is not the first time Dermot has done that. Yet he is the number 2 dog
all breeds, so obviously he doesn't do it all the time.

Did anyone notice that the winner of the Toy group (Pug) did not want to be
touched by the judge during BIS individual examinations? He shied away,
time
and time again until the judge moved on to other things. I am curious, how
much emphasis is placed on this behavior at this level of competition? Was
that an automatic - you are out and no longer considered or is this a more
forgivable behavior in a Toy breed? I know what would have happened if it
was
in our GSD ring .... and the gasps would have been heard all the way across
the Tapanzi bridge. <G>
