aren't we having the most interesting weather yer here in the northwest?
We went from August to November overnight. Yesterday I had rain, hail, thunder,
and even one sun break.

Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] Tornado in Enumclaw Wa?
Yesterday, as I was standing at my kitchen sink, debating whether to put
off loading the dishwasher (we sure have it hard these days), the trees
immediately outside the kitchen window began whipping around in a frenzy!
These
trees are huge oak and alders, at least 75 to 100 feet tall. The wind was
so ferocious whole branches, they themselves the size of small trees, were
broken off the huge oaks and alders...I decided to go outside and see this
wild exciting event, and by the time I reached the front door, it was over!
Today on the news, they think (think!) a tornado tore through my town of
Enumclaw, and surrounding areas, actually causing a funnel of water to rise
off of a local lake, (I forgot what this phenomenon is called). They are not
absolutely sure at this time that it was indeed a tornado, as in order to
be a tornado, they say it has to touch the ground...my ground was certainly
touched, gathering by the amount of debris that was redistributed,
LOL...Dogs were outside, and were ok..thank heaven. Syd
