Yesterday I had Izzy at the vet's for some dental work. She has had a
cleaning 5 times in the last 6 years. In between times, I have scaled her
teeth and brushed her teeth. Nothing keeps them clean. I fed her "raw"
for a year & a half--no difference. She (and the rest of the pack) have
raw chicken backs and raw bones--no difference. No one else has teeth like
hers. Plaque, plaque and more plaque--her teeth are gorgeous now, but it
will not last. She has had 4 teeth removed through the years, 2
yesterday. I have decided that she's just got (genetically) bad toofers.
I am going to give her colloidal silver and other immune boosters--don't
know what else to do. Izzy has always been healthy in every other way and
like I said before, none of my other dogs has this problem. After my
long-winded explanation, can anyone tell me anything else I can do
naturally to help her? Since she's almost 9, I don't want her to be put
under anesthesia repeatedly for tooth cleaning. H E L P.
