I spoke to my cousin in Olean, New York last night and she has a German Shepherd that is having a nail problem. The nails are turning yellow and splitting. Some are hollow. Her vet gave her some medicine to help with the dogs temperature. Now the dog does not want to eat and it hurts to walk. The vet says it is not fungus. He doesn't seem to know what is causing it. We have seen this in Arizona but thought it was a desert problem. I thought it was fungus but according to her vet it is not. The vets in Arizona treat this with the same medicine that is for fungus or Valley Fever. Any ideas that can help her would be great. di www.EremShepherds.net<http://www.eremshepherds.net/> www.ArizonaGermanShepherdRescue.com<http://www.arizonagermanshepherdrescue.com/> ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2008.
