Yes, a registry that has no warden to inspect every litter to see if they are
who they are said to be. I do not believe we need a warden but we surely
do need every sire-dam and pups DNA'd but for parentage. Can you or anyone
else explain to me why we now have Piebald and Panda in our breed? Considering
US Davis had a vet that left after the Pandas I do not know for sure if they
DNA'd back to their grandparents to see if they were GSD's? Since
more than one sire can sire a litter it would be interesting to know.
AKC does not require DNA as yet so other breeds could continue
to be registered as a GSD that are not.
