If you ask Joan directly she will tell you that she chose to run by
petiton. Sometimes it is not the popular position to be nominated by the
Nominating Committee. She had decided not to run and changed her mind
after a conversation between us. So it is not a rumor that she was not
nominated. Why all the nastiness? I have never seen so many "pissing
contests" in my life. The Board does not need, nor is it the place for
this activity. Some current directors never learned to "play nice". Gail
