As my Mom would say, "Do you want to be a lemming?"? If everyone just follows
the pack, we all jump off the ledge.? I don't dye or drug my dogs.? I also
won't compromise my ethics to be part of?a clique.? I also feel the Breed has
far more important issues to deal with.? But, if someone feels that strongly
about dyeing dogs, then the time to deal with it is AT THE SHOW!? Report it at
the time and don't bitch about it later.? Have proof and and be very careful
about false accusations.? That is the ONLY way to police ourselves.? If one is
afraid of repercussions for reporting cheating, then one has to wonder how
sincere that?person is about that issue.?
It saddens me that nobody responded to my post about cancer in our dogs, yet
everyone has something to say about dyeing dogs.? Guess that shows the
priorities.? How sad is that that we care more about Clairol than cancer???

...Jeff and Mike made two excellent points.......baseball got into trouble
because it ignored the use of performance enhancement drugs (steroids)...now
look at the big mess...If I were a handler and I could not compete because
other
handlers were dyeing dogs and no one was doing anything about it...well guess
what.... I'D START DOING IT TOO!....yes two wrongs don't make a right.....but I
wouldn't just sit back and lose because my competitors had an un-fair and /or
illegal advantage....Put the problem were it belongs? on the AKC!...they make
the rules governing shows so they need to police their own house...just as
Baseball is finally trying to do!...Cubs...White Sox...OUCH!...lol...FB
