I am not aware of any right or statute that requires board meetings to be
open to members. I looked in vain, but I could not find any statute in NY
which gives the members a right to attend a Board meeting. Of course they
have the right to attend member meetings. In fact, NY law does not even
require that notice of a meeting be given to members-just to other board
members. So, I would have to conclude that if you don't have to give
members a notice of a meeting that they certainly don't have a right to
attend.
