I think this is more important than many people realize. If I were new to
showing and had attended the Springfield National for my very first National,
quite frankly I would not have been all that impressed. The appeal of a place
such as Purina Farms in many ways would attract and retain newcomers - I
believe anyway. And people can take a break and go tour the other areas of
Purina Farms while there. There is a mini-museum, petting zoo. You can even
milk a cow as Bob & Carol Moore's adorable granddaughter seemed determined to
do yesterday! LOL
I know these things aren't really what are national is about for most of us,
but it certainly doesn't hurt when trying to get new people to start coming and
staying..... Purina Farms is very family and kid friendly.

im & I went to the Mid West Futurity, and first would like to say, THANKS so
uch to the St. Louis club for all of your hard work putting on a fantastic show

cheduling, flooring, seating, etc, think it would be a great venue for our
ational. As far as the rubber flooring goes, I don't see how it could be worse
han the dirt in Springfield was. I did have a question about bleachers, etc,
nd because we were at the tail end of the tour it may have been answered and I
issed it. IMO, we would need bleachers about twice as high as we had at
pringfield. Maybe not all the way around the ring, but enough so more people
ould see easily.
