principles or professional standards
What a concept. Lately, I had been contacted by a few GSDCA Committee members
who, apparently, have no qualms about infringing on copyrights of others; who,
in effect, act like vultures, and then go on to make slanderous and libelous
statements about their own fellow club members. Maybe the GSDCA needs another
lawsuit to make them clean up their act...they don't seem willing to police
their own wrongdoers.
Now this Lexington - Colorado - Philadelphia (ah, yes....UNION workers, that
will be economical) - Topeka fiasco/scandal.
An agreement is an agreement, verbal or written.
I am as ashamed of some of these people involved, as well as so very proud of
those holding their grounds and demanding the RIGHT thing be done. Integrity
overrides money, in my book...EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE YEAR!!

The facts on the Lexington show site are these -
A deposit was paid.
A contract with prices was done - sent to Nadine Grady for signature, then to
Gail Hardcastle for her signature. Gail told me she had signed it and sent it
on to Lexington. For some reason - Lexington does not have a copy of the
signed contract "hence the no signed contract statement" - however - The site
never informed myself, Gail Hardcastle or Nadine that they did not receive it,
they had the deposit check and were not concerned.
We do have a signed contract (signed by Tish Walker) for the Holiday Inn Hotel
in Lexington.

I'm also going to go on record as not being a fan of breaking verbal
agreement/contracts. "We" (those that speak for the club) must have had some
sort of agreement with Lexington to have announced that we were heading there.
Taking advantage of people & situations might work "well" in the short
term --for those without ethics-- but in the long run, it'll hurt us
(club/members).
I am TIRED of politician club representation that say one thing & do
another, whether it be an agreement with a potential site or club issues.
