Mark Twain went to see his doctor. He was feeling poorly.
His doctor said he had to give up smoking.
Mark replied, "I haven't smoked for years now."
The doctor said he has to give up the wild woman and the late parties.
Mark explained, "I haven't been with a woman for years now, I quit the
parties a long time ago."
The doctor considered it, and said: "You have to stop all the drinking, it
is killing you."
Mark answered, "I stopped the booze five years ago, to feel better."
The doctor looked at him, considered, and then said: "If you had one vice, I
could save you.; As it is, you are just going to have to die."
It doesn't pay to be too good. Like Ed, I find myself in good condition for
the new year.
