Dawn,
There are very few towns that shoot dogs in Texas - and they are the ones
who cannot afford any other method. I am sure they make every effort to do
it somewhat humanely (in the head).
I know this is not the preferred method, but honestly, some places just
cannot afford any other option.
We cannot judge them, at least they do not make the dogs suffer. (I would
think a gas chamber would be much crueler!!)
