I too wonder if they are in the great shape they say they are why the =
need for donations?
I agree with this, but want the WDA to be open and forthcoming with it= s
finances. I know they are having a Seiger show here in California for= three
days. I expect it will be profitable. I also hear their shows ar= e well
attended, and wonder why they still require donations?
I = withdrew my membership, (not just letting it expire) to make a
statemen= t. I did not trust the leadership of the WDA and objected to many
of the things they had done, including ignoring their own by-laws. I made it
cle= ar
to those who needed to know, but didn't find the need to go public.
Now we need to insist on transparency, or let the WDA look to itself= for
funding.
