Where is the remorse from Vick?? Where are the PSA's against dog fighting??
Where has there been anything other than getting the best deal after getting
caught?? There are many, many people who have had rough childhoods, that have
overcome it.? He had every tool to do so.? That is NOT an excuse for any
violence.? Yes, parolees must earn a living and PROVE themselves to again be
productive members of society.? I am sure many opportunities will come his way,
just because of who he is.? Why should he be handed?an NFL contract???He won't
repeat the dog fighting.? But, he sure hasn't done anything to redeem himself
as a responsible citizen.? If he steps up to the plate and not joining forces
with Peta, maybe I will rethink my opinion.? But, to give him a free pass is
wrong.??
Would you feel the same way if he sexually molested a child???

One of the things a parolee must do is earn a living. They must prove that they
can earn a living in a lawful way. Would you rather Vick go back to fighting
dogs? I believe he had a rough childhood and my guess is that playing football
is the most legal way he knows how to support himself. I say let him play, let
him educate, Everything serves a purpose, maybe?Vick's purpose is to educate
man?to his inhumanity. He is a perfect way to bring dog fighting back into the
light without having to deal with Animal Rights folks. ?Why let this
opportunity
fade away like the concern over dog fighting did after he was jailed. It still
happens and we are just ignoring it.

I can't agree.? Why should Vick get anything more than any other parolee, just
because he can throw a football?? Maybe the Arena League will pick him up.?
They
seem to embrace convicted felons.? The NFL does not owe him anything.? I am
sure
he broke many of the ethics and morals clauses in his contract.? Sure, he has
paid a big price for his crime.? But, that is as it should be.? He shouldn't
get
it all back.? I believe in second chances, but the second chance needs to be
earned, not given.? He hasn't earned it yet.?

ago...today I heard on Sports Center (ESPN) that Michael Vick was getting out
of
jail today to testify in some sort of bankruptcy hearing...ESPN went on to say
Vick is scheduled to be released in Mid -July....Question?......should he be
allowed to resume his career in the National Football
League?...his crimes were
horrible and he was punished in more ways than one for?those crimes....working
in some type of law-enforcement most of my adult life I am NOT soft on
criminals?or crime (Oakland just lost 4 police officers Saturday at the hands
of
a parolee...I used to supervise parolees in Oakland)...I believe Vick should be
given a second chance......I'd even like to see him play for the
Raiders...."but
