I just finished reading the blog, which of course I missed because I was=
enjoying seeing all of the dogs at the National in person! Evan, just =
so you know, the "unknown handler" in Am-Bred,

Funny Heather, just read that too and was thinking maybe it was Duane.
Congrats to Ashley for a job well done. And by the way, Ashley has agreed to
do a junior seminar at our spring shows.........thought a junior on juniors
would be a positive way to bring other kids in. They work so well together.

Huge congrats too to the "great" Elizabeth on her juniors win at the
nationals. She too has a special place with me.

But am so very proud of Duane Sibley for placing 4th AM bred dog and also
for winning the juniors intermediate class. He went up against the
experienced Elizabeth for best junior and did himself proud.

Duane is a junior member in our cloud and John and I have had the great time
of teaching Duane a lot of the conformation ropes. Mind you, this boy is a
natural........very quick learner and has hit so many AB shows in the past
year he is getting pretty well figured himself.
I shared a brief story about him at the annual meeting when he was mentioned
and would like to share that with all of you.

He did the ring many times with his best buddy Jett, and was looking pretty
exhausted. Leslie came and helped him with a few quick breathing
exercises.......thanks Les. But when he placed, I gave him a hug and
congratulated
him.......he laid his cheek on my should and said "you never told me I would
be
this tired!". What a guy!
Now he is rethinking the concept of how tired he would be to have a dog in
every class......you can bet he will be running miles for the next year before
next years nationals.

Thanks to all the handlers there that give him a moment of their time and
consideration. And if anyone gets a shot of the one taken with Georgie and
Duane, would love a copy.

Molly
