Wouldn't it be easier to just have open sessions? And why are handler's
bills an issue for the club?

A "closed session" means that we don't know what is discussed or the
results of a vote until the session is over. Some times we have to wait for
them to open the doors, but with so many Smart phones today, often we don't
have to wait that long.
