She hired someone to come in twice a day to care for the dogs. She had a 10 year old bitch kenneled with her daughter (7 years old). The helper called her & they hurried home. Well, the girls had gotten into the first fight of their lives. The older bitch had her stomach torn open - she did not live. The younger one had one ear totally chewed up & some other quite serious injuries. This opened my eyes as to taking a chance with same sex dogs being left together when I am not there to supervise.
