I have no doubt your girl is plotting.? I have an entire litter here who has decided they no longer want to be in their whelping room.(spare bedroom)? They are 5 weeks and 3 days old.? These pups, who would follow me everywhere, are now scattering when it is time to come inside.? The routine was: outside in the morning for a couple hours then inside during the day.? Outside in the evening then back inside for bedtime.? Nope, they do NOT want to come in.? They want to be where the people and dogs are.? They are very social.? And very VOCAL about their demands, LOL!? They went out in the?backyard for the first time today.? I have a pen set up with shade and water.? It is where all the dogs hang out during the day in their runs.? I thought they would be scared to move from their private front yard to all the noise in the backyard.? Boy, was I wrong.? They couldn't wait :-)? They are still on?Astroturf and not allowed to be on the grass or dirt except to go potty and come inside. ? I doubt that is going to last much longer <VBG>?? That all said, I would worry about your girls.? I had 2 girls who loved each other.? But, they both wanted to be my right hand dog.? If I corrected one, the other would get involved?and correct her too.? This went on for awhile until one decided not to accept the correction from the other girl.? We never had a major fight as I seperated them from that point on.? Both girls are now the matriarchs of their packs.? Both girls?were/are excellent mothers.? Both girls still love their female daughters and play with them with no issues, EVER.? But, I would never put them together again.? They started out with the older girl being more Alpha but the younger one stepped up to the plate and they can never be together again.? They still love each other and can be one on one as long as it is just the two?of them under supervised play and no chance that one or the other will have to be corrected.??Corrections were mostly fence fighting which has been resolved by privacy fences and age.? I t is very rare when they get to see each other anymore.? Anyway, just my two cents worth.? Keep an eye on those girls, especially that sneaky one.? She may push the issue one too many times.?? Many people believe that most dogs act out of instinct. I believe in many cases that that is true. However, I also believe that some of the smarter ones act out of shear intelligence and some like the one that I own actually thinks and plots out what she's going to do before she does it. Yup, I'm talking about the baddest dog I've ever owned (and also the very funniest)......Bu! Bu lives to play and also lives to intimidate her sister. Everyday she "herds" her sister into the dog house by biting her hocks and legs. This is the first thing she does in the morning and several times again during the day. I have a dog house up on the deck, which she moves around at her will. Yesterday it was in front of the back door. Well anyway, about a week ago, I happened to take a look out the back window. I see Bu go into the dog house while her sister Jess is laying on the deck catching the breeze of the afternoon minding her own business. Out of the dog house parades Ms. (pain in the A--) Bu with a mouthful of shavings that I put into the dog house. She walks over to her sister and standing over her, dumps the shavings on her head. Jess turns around looking at me with a big piece of shaving hanging off of her eye lash. I thought I would laugh until I cried. I have seen her do this with a bone she may be chewing on. She'll walk over to her mother and drop it on her back. Certainly this isn't done out of instinct, but rather by her thinking and plotting to do it. She is just so bad! Every night before my dogs go to bed, they share a treat with me. Jess loves to jump up in the air and catch it. She's a real chow hound. Then she turns around and lets out a big scream looking for more. Each time she does this, she gets louder, and each time Bu looks at her like she's nuts. Then when Bu can no longer take her sister's mouth, she jumps her and attacks her to make her shut up! I tell you I never have laughed as much as I have with this dog. Oh yeah, she even barks at me when I yell at her to leave her sister alone. She runs into the dog house and peeking out (but not too far), she barks at me as if to tell me I have some nerve correcting her! Anybody want her? hehehe!
