[ SHOWGSD-L ] The sound of Coyotes, again

A couple of years ago, I visited some friends in Los Angeles who live in
the Hollywood Hills, up behind the sign. I was amazed to see the
coyotes in the area!
In the new house we back up to a large nature preserve. When we were looking
at the house and acreage there were always deer in the yard. I figured that
the real estate people called ahead and told them to "release the deer, the
Ginsburgs are on the way."
One day I heard a lot of noise, so I went outside. We had fenced in the
entire area with a six foot fence and a deer had jumped it, and was being
chased
back and forth by Joker. The deer was at least 120 lbs, and faster than by
dog, for a while.
I called Joker and he came back, smiling all the way. I put him inside,
opened the gate and went to work. When I got home the deer was gone.
We have lots of coyotes here, but mostly they cry in the night, a noise I
enjoy. I may just be weird that way, but I love that howl. I also like a
train
whistle in the early morning, the smell of puppy feet, sad shepherd eyes,
the feel of a puppy on my chest sleeping and a cold nose on my neck as I wake
up
in the morning.
But, that is just me.
