That is one of the funniest stories I have from a national.
We were in Philadelphia when two oversized young men came and told Len
Steen that unless the electrician union members were hired to plug in the
dryers, they would shut down the show. Dan Dwyer, who used to be a police
chief
talked to me. Len, who used to work with the unions said we had to
comply.
I met with the two electricians and explained that I was a lawyer, and we
had over 40 German shepherds who were ready to meet with them to discuss
it
with us. And, unless they were gone in the next five minutes, I wanted
them to meet a few of them and then me in court.
They left and we had no further problems.
It is indeed the city of brotherly love. I loved my brothers, and they
must have loved our dogs.
