I love  the Dresden Files.  This last book Changes left us with such a 
cliff  hanger!!  Also love the Stephanie Plum novels, reading Sizzling Sixteen  
right now,  James Lee Burke's Robicheaux series, John Standford's Prey  
series, Charlaine Harris 's Sookie Stackhouse series along with her Grave  
Series and Simon Green's Nightside series.  I also get these books  on CDs 
because I just love listening to them after I have read the  book.



If you think Dresden left us hanging, go for the Lee Child's  book and read 
the ending.
 
With those choices, pick up some of the Andrew Vachss  novels.
