My Garage Cat, Brt, decided to bring me treat today - a live vole, which she dropped at my feet and waited for me to kill. Either she is teaching me to hunt, or giving me the thrill of killing my own food. Fortuantely, the animals my dogs bring in from the woods are DEAD. Usually she leaves my daily treat dead at the door. I pick it up and palce it where something can enjoy it. But should the economy get really bad, those baby bunnies, mice and other critters might be a good source of protein for the dogs! I might even write a cookbook ROAD KILL RECIPES FOR YOUR DOG - all proceeds to go to rescue. ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2010.
