I believe that the Portland Kennel Club shows and the Cow Palace in Northern Ca
are the last two bench shows on the west coast.

My first time in the Conformation ring was in 1973 at the Portland KC
Benched show. I showed my employer's Kuvasz to BOB. I had a blast and still
remember that show.

My very first time in the conformation ring . It was I think 1972 and was a
Dallas GSDC match . I showed my Zeto of Fran-Jo daughter in 6-9 puppy class
and she went best puppy.
Talk about beginners Luck ! I was a nervous wreck but I thought I was in dog
heaven <LOL>
