Yes, most of the people who breed whites, and livers, blues or panda GSD, are
not members of white clubs and do not show with us. Some do show their whites
in the UKC.

However they both want separation the AWSA wants the American GSDs
to be included with the BBS with FSS breed created. The decision
to be made of what they will be called in the USA with AKC. They
both agree that they do not want their imported BBS dogs registered as
AKC GSDs that last I heard. I see no end to this until separation is
allowed for those that want it.
Question do you know how many white dog breeders are members of
the GSDCA. There might be several white dogs registered each year but most
of these breeders also breed blues, livers and Panda colors so are pet breeders
not
show breeders.
AKC can not tell you how many whites, blues, livers, pandas
which are registered as sables or black and tan. I have called AKC several times
been passed to one person to another and still no answers. Carmen does
not know as I never heard back from him on the issue either .

This is the same thing that happened in 1996. A small
group of WGSDCI members wanted separation. The members of
the WGSDCI voted NO to separation. The small group broke
off and formed the AWSA club.
Now, the AWSA Club is divided about what they want.
