Thank you Zoe. I do have a question that is not clear to me and I believe 
others may also have an interest in the answer. 

The AKC published the full new standard in October 2013. 

As I am sure you are aware it had some alarming contradictions. 

For whatever reason the GSDCA waited until the April meeting to approve a 
different version. This new version has taken out DQ predominantly black nose 
and other changes in head coat and color have been revised. 

The AKC approved in May. 

The new revision (of the revision) was never shared with the GSDCA membership 
by either our own club or The AKC. (We never had the opportunity to write AKC. 

How can our club and the AKC approve without our ability to write AKC on a 
version now going to ballot?
