Well all I know is I was really exhausted after the show and I didn't have to
judge every single
dog in that arena for hours with full concentration and focus.
I am impressed with any Judge that judges the National for hours!! It is an
exhausting job
and I've always come away tired even when we don't compete, and always been
impressed
with any Judge that handles that job.....
Also.....don't forget that the Specials Judge also has to go over and have his
picture taken
with every single dog after a long LONG hard day of Judging.
He or she is the last man or woman done!! I imagine one by one every single
person left that
building and went to take care of their dogs, load up and leave for Motels or
dinner or home........
except whomever was involved with photos and that would be the Photographer
with all his
equipment, the Judge and the Parent Club officials.
Unless someone is assigned......the Judge has NO ONE ...except maybe the
photographer.

MAYBE IT'S MIGUEL'S FAULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <G>

And just who was the Judges' Hospitality Chair?? And why didn't Ed just
ask
for a ride?? I am sure there would have been several with cars. And is
this
really something we should be griping about?? And finally, where were the
people who are griping about Ed having to walk, were they already at the
dinner
having fun?? Maybe they should have come back to the arena to make sure
Ed was
   OK..........

I just went to watch a dog show. I went back to the room to sleep. I would
have been glad to take Ed. I didn't know anyone needed a ride. As I recall,
it was a bit blustery. I remember being blown against the car while trying
to
fill it up. All in all, I missed the dinner and the dancing.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.
