Not sure why you would feel your post was not clear?. I was not responding
to your post though. I was stating what I seen in other breed magazines.
But like you I feel if the GSDCA is not using the Review itself it might
discourage some members from using it. Maybe this is something the board
should look at?

It seems I did not make my post clear enough.
The point is those things named have now almost all been taken out of the
Review and put on the GSDCA website. The WDA no longer advertises or has a
column as they have their own magazine.
This has led to a smaller and smaller Review as a result people do not
perceive a value in the magazine.
Of course, there are other factors but it hits you right away when you
read the old issues.

Hi,
I am sure there are some who do not advertise in the Review because of the
Internet. But I am not convinced this is why the Review has so few
advertisers. You might convince me of this if I had not seen a Cocker
magazine that
is not done by their parent club but is cockers only that ranges from 80
to 150 pages a month loaded with ads and a full color page ad with one
photo
cost $120.00 or a Mastiff breed magazine that was packed with ads. I did
not look at the cost per ad. I do not have a answer to why so few
advertise
in the Review but I am not buying the Internet or economy when other
breed
magazines are more then double our size and full of ads. We have to look
for better reasons then these. And we need everyone's input to find
answers
and to help turn it around.
