It is an interesting year. I got more personal attacks, (in private,
thankfully) about the Blog than ever before. It even made me think that maybe
it has
outgrown it's intent. I started doing it because people seemed to enjoy it,
and I had fun with it. Now, it is hard work, there always is someone who
objects to something I said, but this year it was amazing.
I always respond in private, and I never intend to cause harm or hurt
feelings, but it seems I do. It might be a product of the times, or perhaps
people
are more sensitive with our nation at war, and so many young lives lost.
Whatever the reason, it is interesting to see the difference this year. And
I will have to think about if I want to continue doing it. I know some enjoy
it, but if too many are offended, then it is time to quit. I won't change
how I do it, but will think about retiring.
