Below is a promo for a group called the Animal Legal Defense Fund. PETA, DDAL,
and HSUS pale in comparison to their power but I will assure you they all work
together in a common goal. You may find their web site at

As you can see from their site there is no animal not worthy of their attention.
They don't hide in the shadows waiting to blow up an animal lab or stand
outside of McDonalds to distribute "Unhappy Meals"...(pics of Ronald McDonald
cutting off the head of a chicken or a handout claiming your Mommy & Daddy are
murderers because they eat meat). They don't picket Neiman Marcus fur salons
and throw red paint on women who wear fur.
They are, however, the most dangerous group of ARO's. They have chapters on
some of the most prestigious College and University campus' throughout the US.
Yale, Harvard, Stanford, and on and on. As you read their handout below, they
sound like a bunch of new lawyers getting together to discuss new law. I wish
it was so. The tip off is when you get to the part of the "delicious vegan
lunch". No burgers here ya all.
Members of the ALDF dress in suits and instead of shouting "Down with pet
ownership" their slogans are "I Object" and those words are addressed to a
Judge in a court of Law. Their area of "Study...Animal Rights Law" is being
financed at an alarming rate. Bob "The Price Is Right" Barker has donate over
"one million" dollars to establish AR Studies. He holds a Honorary Doctorate &
Chair from Harvard for his magnanimity.
It's only a matter of time before the ARO movement entrenches itself into our
court system. If we do not work to slow or halt their advance a Judge will
grant an animal...any animal...the rights of a retarded child. That is their
goal. When that happens, a Guardian (does that word ring a bell?) or
Conservator will be appointed to represent the rights of the animal...(child?)
Co-founder of PETA Ingrid Newkirk, is on record saying "A rat, is a boy, is a
pig". "In other words, all animals should have the same rights. The "Guardian
Movement" is one effort to achieve that goal.
RALEEF is an organization of the PClub that can help to stem this growing
threat to our dogs and our sport but your support is essential. The PClub
Treasury now include a slot for RALEE donations and you will see the Red and
White RALEEF signs coming soon...to a show near you. Listen to the RALEEF
regional reps and learn what "YOU" can do to help us. We are counting on you.
Sorry this post is so long...but it took a long time for us to find us in this
pickle...it's gonna take a long time to get out of the pickle barrel.
