[ SHOWGSD-L ] The Judges' STANDARD becomes the new STANDARD

I get upset and angry when I see Judges promote and finish dogs that are
extremely faulty going away.
Most have long hocks that point east and west in motion but often touch
when standing They cross over
rather than single track on a straight line and are supported by overly
angulated stifles. I feel the same
when I see judges award points to these dogs that are so bad in the rear as
they are disregarding our
Standard. This is a very serious fault. How can a Judge own and promote
such a dog? I don't fault
exhibitors, I don't even fault breeders, there seem to be judges buying
these dogs. I cannot excuse a
Judge however and neither should anyone else. We may complain about those
exhibiting in the All
Breed Ring, but you can bet that their dogs are clean (true) coming and
going, as per our Standard.
All our dogs should be able to be shown in either ring and JUDGES MUST SET
THE EXAMPLE,
because everytime they don't they change "the Standard" for our new people.
