Just something to think about:

When a person  chooses not to report an incident that is unacceptable, mean
spirited and unsportsman like  then this person becomes part of the
"problem"  the problem is that our breed is suffering, and our sport is
suffering.  For many reasons, cost, time and the inevitable negative events
like this don't make newbies smile and want to become one of us.  Any event
that is negative and has to do with a dog show can be reported so we can
continue to have dog shows!!!!!!!!!!!! I let folks know that I will report
to both the GSDCA and the AKC if there are any issues!  I tell all of the
parks, hotels and city staff I deal with, let me know who if any is
inappropriate.  There will be consequences.  And there needs to be.  Our
sport isn't on firm grounds people.  Why do we let this type of behavior go
on?  At any dog event?????????

This is a big deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like i said before, I am not spewing this info, for the sake of an AKC
complaint or action. I am on public record that i will not pursue that path
as it does not jibe with my personal belief system on how to handle this.
However,if there is an issue with the AKC or the GSDCA,all i can do is to
tell the truth and provide the evidence and deal with the consequences. No
Problem. My honor and integrity will be kept intact in either case.
If the club is hurt, i'll feel sad, but i don't feel responsibility as i did
nothing wrong in my mind and my intent was certainly not to hurt the club.

Despite the poor judgment on the other party -- unfortunately Bill, you also
admitted to poor judgment and therefore an infraction based upon the rules.


I can't say faced with the same type of thing I wouldn't be equally unable
to keep my mouth shut and not mouth off in the same way -- but as it has now
made it to the GSD electronic tabloid -- well it is what it is.

Remember what happened to the folks in the National incident -- one was the
provoker and one was the provokee and both got nailed by the AKC... and
because the GSDCA didn't act accordingly the GSDCA got a pretty hefty fine
-- somewhere in the neighborhood of $2,500.00 if I remember correctly.

The issue I really think is at this point is this show a GSDCA show being
hosted by the regional club therefore should the GSDCA doing something or is
it just the regional club's bailiwick?

In any event -- anytime there's something like this that happens at a show,
it's a sad day for the whole of the sport.
