There is a harness that is meant for dogs that jump that you can put on them
that make it so they cannot not jump on you like that. I have a female who
LEAPS at me when she sees me.

They look funny but they do work. We would put it on act as if we were
leaving then come back in and once we would notice them getting ready to
jump we would say off just as the harness stops them from jumping. That way
they learn the word off too. I hope this possibly helps.

What would everyone recommend to teach a dog NOT to jump all over me ??????
I have tried everything (or so I thought) & this dog just doesn't get it -
I'm sure I am not doing something right, but I just don't get IT !!!!!
I have tried grabbing and holding his paws while he is jumping on me - NOW -
he just "half-ass" jumps on me and as soon as I am caught off-guard, he is
ON me. Of course I've tried putting my knee up, but he thinks it's a game.
Seriously, I am ready to seek professional help in this matter - I HATE dogs
jumping all over me. Any suggestions ?
