This is not the draw that was at the national. At any rate, I will do
every do that I own and co-own to get the information in. I for one have
had enough of this dreadful problem. With permission of the owners, I am
also taking in dogs that come in for boarding and breeding. This is
on-going research, so time frame is not critical.
What I did to minimize cost
1. Tell your vet that you need him to draw blood from your dogs for DNA
Marker Research. Mine volunteered the equipment and the technician if I
would do the paper work and ship it. The tech will even come out to the
van to draw the blood.
2. You need to include a pedigree and info on what problems-non problems
you have seen. THIS IS NOT JUST FOR BLOAT AND TORSION, IT IS IMPORTANT
RESEARCH FOR ALL OF US.
3. Blood and paperwork needs to be well packed and sent via "regular mail"
- not even overnight.

the larger more active kennels.
To date there are only 27 who have participated in the study. I will
commit to send another 27 from my extended dog family. And no I do not
have 27 dogs in my kennel.
I will issue the same challenge to our club members at our meeting tonight
and will get the information to other clubs in our area as well.
