It is not my intention to upset any one with what I am about to say......I read
the post from Board member Kris Fasano a few days ago...I decided not to
comment, there are two sides to every story and not hearing why the president
acted as she did (if in fact she did) I thought it better to remain
silent...our former president was also heavily criticized by many for taking
actions that may or may not have been okay according to the by-laws...I'll be
the first to say I wouldn't know a GSDC by-law if it bit me in the you know
what...but I will say this...if you are the president of this or any other
organization you have a duty to uphold all the rules and regulations....this
also includes the board members....and if any officer of our club, including
the president , does not abide by these rules it is the duty of the other
officers to address this matter....I believe in the power of the vote...the
membership has spoken and this BOARD has been chosen to continue moving this
club and our breed forward...I once quit a local club because after voting for
the futurity judge, a few "old-time" members did not like the out come so they
decided to vote again. I spoke out loud and strong against this action......I
never returned again...never will either.....those folks are not bad
people...they just had a very bad idea....there were two west coast women on
the BOD ballot last year, and they each lost my one vote...if I get my
wish...they will both run again this year..Ed Hill
