While I agree about breeding clear to clear(I have a breeding planned that us just that) I think that if you use the test results you can breed and rid the disease without losing some very important dogs in this breed. I have no issue breeding a carrier to a clear. Also if you breed an at risk dog to a clear you should result in carriers not at risk dogs if I am correct. If you use the testing to prevent breeding at risk dogs to anything but clear dogs you should eventually be able to rid the breed of those at risk . I am fortunate to have a clear male and a female that is also clear but I think it would do great damage to the gene pool to eliminate all the non clear dogs.
