I have been on Facebook for years. I have never had any problem with my
account being hacked or anything else, but then I have very little concrete
personal info (no phone number, etc) on there.
I do thoroughly enjoy it. But I also would never want to give up DA List!

Wait until your Facebook account is taken over you will not love it then.
It happens daily as several people I know all the personal information was
hacked. Wonder where are the critters come from that were never there
before thank Facebook, etc. for that one. As Facebook, etc.
do not have dedicated people like Stormy and others making sure others are
not compromised you are fair game for the Hackers.
This ShowGSD list as well as the Dog related Yahoo groups that are
maintained are a much better safer way to share. It would be nice to be
able to share photos here but it is allowed in the other Yahoo Groups if set
up to do so. However, you can also post the website to send them to a photo
if so desired here.
I do like the debates we have here as Stormy does make sure they stay
friendly and do not offend another. As there are those that do not agree
with another there are always the silent members that are listening to both
sides. My interests will always lie with GSD breed soundness, health issues
which takes in the Genetic makeup and pedigree of ever GSD which where my
heart is.

Talking about Facebook, the pros and
cons, has been interesting to me, as I
LOVE Facebook. It has intelligent groups, slanted groups, great people,
whacko people, super dog and horse pictures and the all-important "delete,"
"block," and "unfriend" click-ons. <G> I greatly enjoy hearing the
antics of my friends and their dogs and horses. Like Iza, I could care
less about the "food" pics. Different strokes for different folks. The
List is pretty much the same, minus the pictures; we have our "groups"
too. When discussions ensue, battle lines are being drawn. That's a good
thing.
Stick to your guns; I always do.
